Natalia e Carlos têm 20 anos, estão apaixonados e lutam pela sobrevivência na Espanha dos nossos dias. Vivem com recursos limitados, o que não os deixa progredir como gostariam. Não têm grandes ambições por não terem também grandes esperanças. Decidem fazer um filme porno amador para ganharem algum dinheiro. O nascimento da sua filha Julia será o grande motor da mudança.
Natalia and Carlos, both aged 20, are in love and struggling to survive in today’s Spain. Their limited resources prevent them from getting ahead as they’d like to. They have no great ambitions because they have no great hopes. To earn some money, they decide to shoot an amateur porno film. A remote military outpost in Patagonia, 1882, during the so-called "Conquest of the Desert", a genocidal campaign against the aboriginal population of the region. Captain Gunnar Dinesen has come from Denmark with his fifteen year-old daughter to take an engineering job with the argentine army. Being the only female in the area, Ingeborg creates quite a stir among the men. She falls in love with a young soldier, and one night they run away together. When he wakes up the Captain realises what has happened and decides to venture into enemy territory to find the young couple.

From within the tension between my estrangement in France and the revolution, an encounter happenned. A young Kurdish woman from Homs began to chat with me, asking: 'If your camera were here, in Homs, what would you be filming?'. EAU ARGENTÉE, SYRIE AUTOPORTRAIT is the story of that encounter.

Nelly Lenz is a concentration camp survivor who has been left severely injured with a disfigured face. Lene Winter, who works for the Jewish Agency, takes her to Berlin. Following facial re- construction surgery, Nelly begins the search for her husband Johnny. When she finally does find him, Johnny does not recognise her.
Kwon, uma professora de línguas, faz uma paragem pelo seu local de trabalho onde recebe um volumoso envelope que lhe está endereçado. Um instrutor japonês chamado Mori tinha-se declarado a ela dois anos antes e o envelope continha cartas que ele lhe tinha escrito quando a procurava em Seoul. Depois de Kwon acabar de ler a primeira carta na recepção, perde o equilíbrio ao descer a escada e deixa cair as cartas. Reúne-as no chão e repara que estas não têm datas. Agora não tem maneira de saber por que ordem foram escritas.
Kwon returns to Seoul from the mountains and is given a packet of letters from Mori back from Japan to propose to her. Kwon drops and scatters the undated letters. She reads them and has to make sense of the chronology - and so must we?

Para reconciliar duas culturas tão radicalmente diferentes, seis artistas deixam a Sibéria para chegarem às florestas pelo Rio Ob. Liderados por "Polina, A Revolucionária", cedo se encontram entre a espada e a parede: a revolução a fermentar como num barril de cidra contra um mundo de cães com asas, anjos malévolos e batatas em forma de coração, todos imunes as direcções do novo regime. Para já não falar nos da velha guarda com simpatias czaristas reminiscentes, decididamente opostos ao ardor revolucionário dos artistas.
To reconcile two such very different cultures, six artists leave for Siberia to reach the forests around the Ob River. Led by "Polina the revolutionary", they soon find themselves between a rock and a hard place: the revolution brewing like a vat of cider vs a world of dogs with wings, mischevious angels and heart shaped potatoes, all imune to the dictates of the new regime. Not to mention the old-timers with lingering Tsarist sympathies, all decidedly unmved by the artists’ revolutionary ardour.
