As luzes, cores, sons, movimentos, rostos, enfim, o próprio zeitgeist de SAN FRANCISCO nos finais dos anos 60 é capturado por Anthony Stern — e ao som de 'Interstellar Overdrive' dos Pink Floyd — nesta curta, visceral e frenética, que, pela sua influência vanguardista e apaixonada observação de uma cidade, é digna de figurar na mesma lista onde conste A PROPOS DE NICE (1930, Jean Vigo) ou BERLIN: SYMPHONY OF A CITY (1927, Walther Ruttman).
