  • METÁFORA OU A TRISTEZA VIRADA DO AVESSO (Catarina Vasconcelos)

  • A correspondência entre um irmão e uma irmã, em pleno aniversário da morte da mãe, leva-os numa viagem ao passado, para compreender o tempo em que a mãe vivia e como era o seu país, Portugal, na década de 1970, quando ocorreu uma revolução. Misturando uma história familiar com a história de Portugal, este filme é uma luta contra o esquecimento.

    A correspondence between a brother and sister in the midst of the anniversary of their mother’s death, causes them to go in a journey to the past to understand the time where their mother lived and how their country, Portugal, was in the 1970’s when a revolution took place. In a blend of a family story with the Portuguese History, this film is a fight against oblivion.


  • MOTU MAEVA (Maureen Fazendeiro)

  • Retrato de Sonja, aventureira do século XX, a viver numa ilha que ela construiu sozinha: Motu Maeva.

    A portrait of Sonja, adventurer of the twentieth century, living on an island that she built by herself: Motu Maeva.


  • O INDISPENSÁVEL TREINO DA VAGUEZA (Filipa Reis, João Miller Guerra)

  • TEARES (Mónica Baptista)

  • A construção da Barragem de Castelo de Bode começou em 1945. Junto à nova albufeira, encontramos agora três mulheres que, nascidas nessa década, mantêm uma das mais ancestrais práticas humanas, o tecer. É nos vaivéns do tear que se enlaça o carácter misterioso e patético da vida, os acontecimentos do subconsciente e as mutações do entorno paisagístico.

    The construction of the Castelo de Bode Dam began in 1945. By the new reservoir we now meet three women born in the 1940’s, who still carry out one of the most ancient human crafts – weaving. The mysterious and pathetic character of life, the events of the subconscious and the mutations of the environmental landscape intertwine with the loom’s back and forth.


  • UM FILME PERDIDO (Eduardo Amaro)

  • Um homem no meio da vida, Eduardo reencontra as imagens da sua infância. Através destas, tenta reconstruir a memória do passado, para contar a história ao filho, enfrentando a morte, a dor e a separação.

    Eduardo, a middle-aged man finds images from his childhood. He tries to rebuild the memory of his own past in order to tell the story to his son. In his walk down memory lane he will face death, pain, and separation.
