• ACORDA, LEVIATÃ / WAKE UP, LEVIATHAN (Carlos Conceição)



T. S. Eliot termina um dos seus poemas mais famosos, The Hollow Men, a repetir três vezes a frase "É assim que acaba o mundo", acrescentando, de seguida, "Não com um estrondo, mas com um gemido". Do espaço, a recuperar de um coração partido, um terráqueo resolve voltar à Terra, quando percebe que toda a água desapareceu.

T.S. Eliot ends one of his most famous poems, The Hollow Men, repeating, "This is the way the world ends" three times. He then adds, "Not with a bang, but with a whimper". From outer space, recovering from a broken heart, an earthling decides to come back to Earth when he realises all water is gone.



• OÙ EST LA JUNGLE? / WHERE IS THE JUNGLE? (Iván Castiñeiras Gallego)



Deolindo e Stevenson tentam encontrar o seu lugar no meio da selva. Ao longo do seu percurso, vão testemunhar a transformação de um território onde, a cada momento, o presente e o passado se confundem, numa luta estimulante entre modernidade e tradição. Quais são os segredos da selva? Onde estão os seus limites?

Deolindo and Stevenson try to find their place in the middle of the jungle. Along their path we will witness the transformation of a territory where in every moment the present and the past become confused, in a thought-provoking struggle between modernity and tradition. What are the secrets of the jungle? Where are its limits?

Uma pequena equipa de estudantes de cinema vai aos Açores, durante uma semana, acompanhar o trabalho de Raimundo Bicudo, um polémico realizador de São Miguel.

A small crew of film students travel to the Azores for a week in order to make a documentary about Raimundo Bicudo, a controversial film director from the Island of São Miguel.



• VILA DO CONDE ESPRAIADA / VILA DO CONDE EXTENDED (Miguel Clara Vasconcelos)



Um rapaz de Vila do Conde grava uma carta de amor numa cassete. A música dele mistura-se com música, imagens de arquivo e histórias do passado, algumas vividas e outras ouvidas.

A boy from Vila do Conde records a love letter on a cassette. His voice blends with music, archive images and stories from the past, some lived and others heard.
