Apesar de todo o seu hiper-realismo grotesco e transgressor, CHOFUKU-KI (a.k.a. BUTTERFLY DRESS PLEDGE), de Shûji Terayama, as cores são as reais estrelas desta curta. A paleta aparenta estar sempre em iminente mercê da película de 16mm, formato capaz de alterar realidades simuladas como nenhum outro na História do Cinema.

In spite of all his grotesque and transgressive hyperrealism, BUTTERFLY DRESS PLEDGE (a.k.a. CHOFUKU-KI), by Shûji Terayama, the colors are the real stars in this short film. The palette always seems to be on the verge of being swallowed by the use of 16mm stock, a tool capable of shaping simulated realities like no other in the history of filmmaking.
